Setting up Microsoft Authenticator.

Login to: https://myaccount.microsoft.com with your Royal Koopmans Account ([email protected]).

Go to Security info.

After pressing on Security info, you are prompted to verify by SMS, after you filled in the code press ‘Skip now.’

Install the Microsoft Authenticator app from the app store on your mobile phone.

Go back to your computer and press ‘Add sign-in-method.’

Then press ‘Microsoft Authenticator,’ after this keep pressing next until the QR-code appears.

Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone, press the blue QR-code in the bottom right corner, scan the QR-code that’s visible on your computer.

After you scan the QR-code press next on the computer, there should appear a 2-digit code. There should be a push notification sent to your phone, open the notification, and fill in the 2-digit code from your computer.

You have now added the Microsoft Authenticator successfully, now you have to change the verification method. Press ‘change’ next select ‘App-based – notification.’

You can now delete SMS as verification method, to do this press ‘Delete’ on the row of the phone.
